Meet the UMSL Marketing Advisory Board
Consumers are changing the way they communicate with and research brands, and brands are changing the way they promote & engage with consumers. We are embracing these digital & social technologies to communicate in ways that were inconceivable just a few short years ago. We are shifting our attention from traditional media marketing to internet, wireless devices, and other digital platforms. The world of marketing as we know it is being disrupted at lightning speed due to these new technologies.
To ensure the marketing curriculum at the University of Missouri–St. Louis is relevant, timely and meaningful for our students and that they have the latest skills, we have created a cutting edge “Digital Medial Marketing” Advisory Board with some of the biggest influencers in the Digital and Social Media space here in St. Louis hailing from companies such as Purina, Maritz, FleishmanHillard, Brown Shoe, Lockerdome and Perficient. Over 30 members in total reside on our board.
Amy has an extensive digital marketing background specializing in paid search marketing. She works for MEC Global, a WPP company that buys 1/3 of all the advertising in the world.
Lisa Grim is the Vice President of Digital Marketing at Twist Marketing, a $2 million full service marketing agency based in Dogtown. Lisa’s role at Twist is to drive measurable results for clients by translating corporate objectives into digital strategies, implementing omni-channel campaigns, leveraging technology platforms and utilizing qualitative/quantitative analytics.
Angela’s well-rounded background includes 10+ years of performing, screenwriting, event production, digital marketing, and now brand management.
April is a digital marketing strategist specializing in email marketing and cross-channel relationship marketing strategies. Currently, she serves brands across a variety of business verticals as a strategist at StrongView, a Selligent Company. At StrongView, a highly-ranked email services provider by Forrester Research, April focuses on client strategies and driving product innovations through her leadership in StrongView's innovation lab.
Matthew Coble is CEO of G Inc., a digital innovation agency based in St. Louis that helps startups grow their businesses, works with corporate clients on new product development and innovation initiatives, and pursues internal startup ideas of their own.
Brianna Smith is a Digital and Social Media Marketing Strategist specializing in creating and implementing inbound marketing strategies for small and large companies. She currently serves as the Integrated Marketing Manager at TeraRecon, the largest independent provider and a global leader in advanced image processing innovation for CT, MR and PET; where she develops cross-departmental digital marketing strategies to nurture and grow TeraRecon's global customer base.
Melissa Hamilton leads Momentum’s Midwest integrated production team. In the past 15 years of her career, she's help lead a number of award winning projects including Coca-Cola's Share a Coke experiential, Nabisco's 1D VIP program and application, Buffalo Wild Wings' Big Shot and Big Kick promotion and app, PG&E's Energy House Calls reality show, and Small Business Stories for The Hartford.
Caryn is a writer, editor, and storyteller for all kinds of media. She’s spent the majority of her career at the corporate level, with a deep passion for digital media. So much so, it was the main area of focus for her thesis while finishing her master’s degree in Mass Communications.
Chris has been President of Bonfyre since 2011 overseeing the day to day operations and and playing a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the company.

Over the last 2 years, he has built a multifunctional team and partner network that has proven brand/business objectives can be achieved with content.
Ed Reggi is an award winning actor, director, comedian and producer. When Reggi is not making people laugh, he's uses improv to coach corporate executives. Ed Reggi is a lifelong storyteller--who has the stories to prove it. Before leaving the Big Apple to join midwest living, he worked as a professional improvisational actor in New York City, Chicago and LA.
Erin is the Director of Digital Marketing and Social Media at Perficient, Inc., a publicly traded national IT consulting firm based in St. Louis, MO. She is also currently the President of the Social Media Club of Saint Louis.

With more than a decade of emerging technology and communications experience, she is leading brand, marketing and communications for evolve24, an analytics and insights company that helps marketers use big data to make more confident business decisions.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has focused on Human Resources, Talent Management, and Organizational Design in marketing and advertising industries where managing and developing creative minds is critical to business outcomes. Her recent past positions include VP- and Director-level roles at Rodgers Townsend (a DDB/Omnicom Group Company) and Manifest Digital.
