Perry Drake

Perry is the Digital Media Marketing Program Director & Assistant Professor, College of Business Administration

He comes from New York University where he taught and created leading edge classes and curriculum including Social Media Analytics & Measurement, Advanced Web Analytics using Adobe SiteCatalyst, and SAS Data Mining for Marketers Certification. He forged unique relationships with various vendors such as Adobe (using their SiteCatalyst product for Webtracking), Netbase (a major social listening tool) and SAS (the premier data analytics tool). He also regularly involved his students in the Google Paid Search Challenge (an international university competition) and the Adobe Web Analytics Competition. He taught at both the graduate and undergraduate level. He also received two outstanding teaching awards during his 14 years at NYU. In addition, Perry also does various training programs for the Direct Marketing Association located in New York City.

Perry’s new role at the University of Missouri - St. Louis (his alma mater) is to continue to be on the forefront of the creation of course content and curriculum in digital and social media marketing. His focus will be to deliver programs and courses here for both the credit and non-credit side.

Rhonda Drake

Courses: Data Analytics & Visualization

Rhonda Knehans Drake founded Drake Direct in 1996 following more than 12 years in various information management roles. Rhonda's background includes experience in all aspects of integrated marketing from conceptualization of strategy to test market design and implementation in roll-out. Rhonda's experience emphasizes the importance of leveraging information to make marketing decisions. This experience has enabled her to assess the most effective and efficient ways to improve marketing efforts for her clients. In addition to consulting, Rhonda is an Assistant Professor at New York University in the Master of Science in Integrated Marketing program teaching “Statistical Measurement for Marketing,” “SAS Data Mining for Marketers,” and “Social Media Analytics".

Angelo Biasi

Courses: Mobile Marketing

Angelo is Founder & CEO of MassiveU, the first, mobile-first learning solutions company. He has owned direct marketing agencies and worked on mobile programs and campaigns for Sprint, AT&T, DudaMobile, and Qualcomm, to name a few. As a tradigital marketer of over 20 years, he has not lost value or appreciation for the fundamentals of marketing and is sure to weave that into each courses or lesson he teaches. Angelo has an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut and teaches regularly in person, online and over mobile phones via MassiveU.com.

April Mullen

Courses: Email Strategy

April has an extensive digital marketing background specializing in email marketing and cross-channel relationship marketing strategies. Currently, she serves brands across a variety of business verticals as a senior strategic consultant at DEG, a full-service digital consultancy based in Overland Park, KS.

April is an active member of the DMA Email Experience Council (EEC) and through participation in that organization, co-authored a guide on cross-channel marketing. April has given the keynote address on the topic of automated lifecycle programs at Responsys Interact 2012 in San Francisco, CA. On a local level, April serves as the digital promotion lead on a special interest group of the AMA-St. Louis Chapter.

Eric Nelson

Eric is an idea evolutionist and thrives on the challenges that the ever-evolving media landscape brings and the solutions that can be found combining online and offline strategies. He brings over 20 years experience in traditional and digital media from media focused agencies such as MPG and Initiative, to full service agencies such as R&R Partners and Rawle Murdy Associates. His experience spans a large array of categories including luxury travel brands, tourism, Government, QSR, and CPG. A graduate of Salisbury University, he received a Gold Effie for his work with the Southern Nevada Water Authority. Eric is currently the Media Director of OsbornBarr as well as a co-founder and VP Finance & Education for 314 Digital.

Danielle Smith

An excellent written and verbal communicator always striving for perfection, attention to detail, and exploration of new strategies within the digital media world. Thru seasoned industry experience and proven success in Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Advertising, Blog Marketing, and Website Development arenas he has been able to not only establish a dominant personal brand but also open gateways to life-changing career ventures.

Most recently in 2012 as part of an experimental exercise he was able to establish a major local SEO trend around "digital marketing" spawning a typhoon of interest within St. Louis marketplace. A monumental achievement that solidified seasoned expertise in the digital media marketing realm.

Financial Aid

Scholarships can be awarded through the Wendell Smith Scholarship Fund, where partial financial assistance is available to persons enrolling in eligible noncredit certificate programs through the School of Professional & Continuing Studies.

The Workforce Investment Act governed by the Workforce Investment Board distributes funds through the UrbanForce program at the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE)
